You are looking at the lower bed of the lofted bed set in the shared room. The upper bed is the one available for guest stay, but I don't have a picture of it at the moment. I will upload it soon. Clean towels, sheets, pillows, blankets, waterproof mattress cover. Sofa also available for 2nd person if needed, but may not be available at the same time as it may be booked separately. Use of kitchen, bathroom, shower, etc, is allowed. My roommate and I are respectful people and ask that you respect the space and our home as well.
Includes access to full bath, kitchen, living room, etc. Mi casa es su casa. You are welcome to bring your own food or use our food. You may make use of the refrigerator, whatever food is there, and cooking dishes. Just please be polite if you use all of something and replace it. And if you have a special dish you like to make from your heritage, we'd love to try it!

We are both working professionals in the local area. We may be available to show you around, especially if it is in the evenings. Often we make a community meal if visitors are staying over, depending on our availability. Please ask in advance if you would like to share a meal or join us at a local restaurant or tavern as there are many good ones in the area.
Trust is a must! By visiting here, we are extending our good faith to you by inviting you into our home to be our guest(s); we kindly ask you to extend your good faith in the same manner.
House rules are posted on the bulletin board in the living room. RESPECT others belongings and privacy. No smoking. You are responsible for your own dishes. Community meals are available often but not always, so please ask if you plan to join us for a meal.

So there's no two letters than can quite capture who I am, but if they could, they'd be "AK." I've lived in 24 places across 5 states, met over 70,000 people, visited 3 continents, worked 16 jobs in 7 different industries, had 5 majors and attended 5 colleges, and accumulated the equivalent of a doctorate in credit hours between business, engineering, and leadership courses. I've started 21 companies, and volunteered with over 50 nonprofit organisations. I love life and challenging myself, especially skiing and hiking; hiked several high peaks in both the east and western US and plan to do more. Someday I'd like to travel to South America for a year or two and live amongst its people. But for now, I'm in upstate NY using the opportunities right here in the capital district to make the quality of life better in the Troy community; building local businesses, creating jobs, and enjoying what this area has to offer.
I'm new to Airbnb, and still learning how to use it. The response rate is low because I did not know how to respond to requests at first, but now I do. One more interesting fact about me (which partially attributed to the low response rate) is that I am a conscientious objector to smartphones! Therefore I do not participate in the smartphone revolution, which makes for an interesting late night conversation over a drink or a campfire. But I do check email several times each day, and use an SMS voip plugin which forwards to email. So email is the best way to reach me; the SMS service has glitches sometimes.
Lastly I want to welcome you to my home if you choose to visit Troy. I've been here awhile and don't mind showing people around to the hidden gems of the area. If you want to meet a local, drop me a line. I'm usually not far away. Happy Travels!
