We're donating 50% of our Airbnb proceeds to support the anti-Trump resistance (ACLU, NRDC, ProPublica, Planned Parenthood, etc.)! Walk less than 10 minutes from this cozy bedroom to all that Ballard has to offer - restaurants, bars, farmers market, and more! Or if its summertime, step out of your private room into our garden patio where you'll feel miles away from the city.
This cozy 1905-built Ballard fisherman's cottage offers quiet residential living steps from Seattle's hottest neighborhood. Enjoy your private room downstairs in the basement that can be accessed through the garden in the back of the home. Enjoy the cozy patio furniture and hammock in the back, or cook a farmers market meal in our newly renovated kitchen. Guest can access the washer/dryer and shared bathroom any time they please. My boyfriend David, our dog Baker, and I are excited to share our home with you!
And if you stay with us, we'll donate 50% of our proceeds from your stay to an anti-Trump charity of your choice!
Guests can enter and exit through our front door or the back door. Guests have full access any part of the home, including the kitchen, laundry, and living space. Our bedroom is the only part of the home that is off limits.

My boyfriend and I live in the home, so we'll be available anytime to answer questions, recommend good places to eat or things to do, or help with directions.
Our house is cozy, so don't come expecting super spacious rooms and hallways! The room is a finished area of the basement with 6'4" ceilings, and you may have to duck your head to get through the doorway (don't worry, we have a "Watch Your Head!" sign to remind you!). So, probably not the place for you if you are taller than 6'0"! Also, I hope you like dogs! Ours is very friendly but is a bit of a jumper and barker :)
We probably don't have room for your pet, sorry! Also, we'd appreciate if you didn't smoke, and please respect quiet hours between 10pm and 6am.
I am from North Carolina originally and like to hike, watch live music, and try out microbrews. I am an environmental consultant working to help cities build resilience to climate change. I love to go outside on adventures!
