Before we started the trip, we already knew this house is not in the centre of Karuizawa. And there is no heating facility except a electric blanket. also is no washer in this house. those situation didn't stop we looking forward to a wonderful cozy experience. however, when we checked in the house on about 5:00. we found that the house is not convenient at all. especially the futons and the cookwares are not neat at all. they seem like not been used for a long time. the light in the living room is so dark. the most important thing is that our cellphones and WiFi receivers were all out of servicewere there! we took a wifi receiver specially when Megumi told us there is no TV or WIFI in her house. it was raining outside. we could not find a road into the door, where u need to walk pass a weedy and muddy field. we didn't feel like home at all. desperated and lonely, we decided to quit the house immediately. so we left about 7:30. we didn't expect this situation. The second day, we told Megumi what we had felt and hoped that if she could allow to refund the rest of the days fee to us. eh...she refused to do this. All along, she tried use (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) to communicate with us. i have to say it is not easy to communicate with her in English. luckily, we speak a little poor Japanese. in fact, the house is a good one if the host could spend more time and put more mind on it. if this house is mine, i will never allow this situation happening. Overall, it's a terrible experience which i have never experienced before in Airbnb.
