We live in the suburbs of Philadelphia now and coincidentally are moving shortly to this same area off Rittenhouse Square. We can help suggest your vacation experiences especially based on "where the locals go" and "where the top chefs eat" - our favorite quirks!
We certainly are foodies and love to share our personal finds. We would love to help make your stay memorable and fulfilling. We are only a phone call away.
We are aware that there will be no cars allowed to enter the city during the Pope's stay. It would be our suggestion to come and enjoy our city , possibly make it a destination vacation, starting earlier in the month. The good thing about this owners unit rental is that it is now being prepped for new tenants starting October, so all of September will be open and available. Since it is currently undergoing rehab with all new modern conveniences, you will also be the first to enjoy it. Please note that there are a flights of steps throughout this home. It would be difficult for any handicapped tenants.
ALSO don't forget how close you are for a day trip to New York, the Jersey Shore, Baltimore, Washington and the Chesapeake! You may as well take advantage of the east coast pleasures!
Everything will be new so we request your greatest respect. We expect our guests to leave our facility in the same clean, new fashion it was given. No smoking please. Added guests up to 2 more is $150 pp. Request an air mattress to be made available if needed.
As much as we love pets, animals are not accepted in this space for now.
We are looking for mature adults or families who respect their surroundings and other people. We can arrange a cleaning service upon your departure for a small fee of $125.

Both my husband and I privately own numerous residential properties throughout the beautiful, culture filled Rittenhouse area, where we too will be residing shortly. Both of us and our grown children have very creative passions."Butch," as he is known, just retired from a long run of a byo farm to table Rittenhouse restaurant well known as "Matyson." My son Ben has moved on as the head chef that brought Matyson to its merits and now owns the new wave restaurants "Bing Bing" and Cheu Noodle Bar. I, myself, am an outgoing private art teacher who works with children, adults, businesses and events. I also have a creative, extraordinary glassblower son and graphic artist daughter who manages a successful top 5 ebay business. We all are very close and live very happy lives here in Philadelphia. We all love boating, gathering and cooking "good" food from raw ingredients for friends and family, refabbing authentic old properties and reinventing anything into something new, as well as walking and interacting with the young and old. We all take great pride in our strengths and like to share that with others. Did I mention dogs? favorite places to eat? adventure? Hope to get to know you too!
