Holiday means peace and happiness. Bright Side offers you both. Our apartment is located in the center of Budapest still remaining peaceful and very quiet. The apartment is freshly renovated and fully equipped to ensure your comfort during your stay.
Bright Side of Life is not only an apartment, but also a gallery, a place to get away from everyday life, while staying in the heart of Budapest, but mostly a cosy home with two more than comfortable beds on the mezzanines and super comfortable "sofa-bed" in the main room. The building was built in 1853 shortly after the big revolution wave in Europe which makes it a historic house almost one of a kind, built in the spirit of the eclectisim for the rising merchant aristocracy.
The apartment is all yours, plus you have an undisturbed balconylike corridor.

We are always available during your stay, don't hesitate to contact us if you need anything.
Please be kind to respect the neighbors by keeping the noise down when you are at home, especially after 22:00, when families with small children and elders are already in bed .
Please do not smoke inside of the apartment. We have an ashtray by the window on the "balcorridor" for those who want to smoke, to ensure the freshness and cosyness for you (and the future guests).
Please take good care of the apartment, as you would do for your own home.
my name is Kata, I was born in Budapest and lived here for most of my life. I'm a photojournalist and I've had the chance to explore every segment of my profession, from sports, politics but mostly cultural photodocumenting.
Thanks to my job I had the chance to travel around the world and explore some of its whimsical and exciting sides. In my free time I love reading, cooking, going for a long walk, meeting friends or maybe just laying back, relax a little bit and watch a film. Actually one of my favourite movie is the Monthy Pythons - Life of Brian, which gave the inspiration to name our place Bright Side of Life, since there is no more true advice than this: "Always look on the bright side of life".
