This guest was absolutely unbelievable. Yes, the baseboards need painting and the entire home will be painted this Summer. I went to the home while the guest was there for her to show me the hair in bathroom that she reported on day 2 after check-in day and she literally showed me a single strand of hair less than 1 inch long in a corner. I told her that I knew for sure that all sheets were changed because even though I have 3 housekeepers I personally go to the home after each checkout to strip the beds and do the laundry to have bright white bed linens and towels. I take pride in presentation, plus I travel a lot myself and give to my guests what I expect for myself. She said someone was sleeping in the room and I couldn't enter to view the sheets. If the sheets were thought to be not cleaned I would expect them to be outside the door or at least on the floor in the room where she could've gone in and retrieve them herself to show me. I quickly saw that her complaints had a bigger motive so even though the bathrooms were clean, (housekeeping uses Goo Gone to ensure white tubs and showers), I scrubbed the tub and showers again to appease her.
I respect my guests and their opinion but I will not be intimidated by malicious and false reviews in an attempt to get a refund. I will, however, do my best to appease my guests by correcting any shortcomings that are pointed out while guests are in the home, so that they can have full enjoyment of the property.
