First of all, let me appreciate for your personal "thank you" note in which you indicated, that you had a great time at the villa and
wanted to come back again for the third time!
It was so pity that you deleted your first " 5 star" review of our property immediately after you heard, that airbnb will not reimburse
part of your stay, as the booking and payment were all done according to airbnb rules. That original review sounded so sincere!
Secondly, I, and am sure the rest of the airbnb community - particularly here in Brazil - sympathizes with your complaint of "not
being rich" and earning in "brazilian reais". As indicated in the first introductory words by yourself, you are a host/owner of three rental
properties in various countries around the world, so life must be particularly hard for you.
Thirdly, let me refresh your memory a bit, if I may. You were told, not once, but TWICE in my messages to you on 1 June and 2 June, to
verify the rates for your second booking, as it coincided with high rental season (due to FIFA football tournament in Brazil). I assume, you then verified the rates, clicked the "agree/book" button and paid with your credit card, or perhaps you did this blindfolded?
And then afterwords you realized what you have done. What currency is this? What to do? And the answer is? Blame and trash the host? Call him a cheater! This is always the easiest. Play the "guilty game", like the children do, right?
I am so sorry to further upset you, but I trust the airbnb community is much more intelligent than you think. People can read between the
lines and make a character judgement.
In any case, all the best and good luck with your rental business around the world!
