We're looking for a 3-month sublease that can turn into a permanent situation if it is the right fit. Room is open 11/1/16
******We are only interested in a three-month subleaser at this point******
***We sublet the room outside of airbnb for $1,325 a month for the first three months. You have to sign a sublet agreement if you stay with us. Don't contact us if you are not comfortable with this. We just use airbnb to find roommates because it is easier than the list of good ole' craig. ***
There are two of us who live here. I’m queer, and a full-time student who works down on the peninsula. And there is Amber, who works in the legal field. We are both in our early thirties. We have a fully-furnished bedroom in a three-bedroom apartment in The Inner Richmond. It will stay furnished as-is for the first three months, but if it is a good fit, and you end up signing a year sublease, you can do what you want with the furniture. The room has a full-size bed with clean sheets and pillows, a dresser, sliding door closet, and a large antique mirror. There is a living room with a sofa, chairs, and a TV. There is also a large kitchen. We do cook often and the open bedroom is off the kitchen, so if you keep strange hours or are a terribly light sleeper, this is not a good fit for you. We keep our home clean, and ask you do the same while you stay here.
Our home is located in a safe and convenient neighborhood with easy access to almost anywhere else in San Francisco you’d want/need to go. We are just a few blocks away from Golden Gate Park, The de Young Museum, The California Academy of Sciences, and San Francisco’s Botanical Gardens. The Inner Richmond has many shops and things to explore during the day, and also happens to have some fantastic restaurants for you to enjoy if you decide to stay in the neighborhood for the evening. When you want to explore the city, it is very easy to get almost anywhere in the city from here, with tons of MUNI bus lines just a few blocks away. The 33 bus line connects us to The Haight, The Castro, The Mission, and Potrero Hill neighborhoods. The 1 and 2 take you through Pacific Heights, Nob Hill, North Beach, and ends up down at either Fisherman’s Warf or The Embarcadero/Ferry Building. The 31 or 5 can also take you downtown (BART) or out to the ocean at Ocean Beach. The 38 is also just outside our house, and that’ll take you straight downtown/Union Square. All of these bus lines are within 4 blocks of our home.
There is a full-sized mattress that has a deluxe mattress pad on it. Street parking is available if you have a car, and while you don't need a parking pass on our street, you need to pay close attention to the signs regarding street cleaning. There are plenty of markets/grocery stores nearby. We also have access to laundry, and all of the bills are included in the rent price. This is a safe space for any LGBT individuals, and honestly female roommates have been a better fit in the past, but we are open to anyone who is friendly. We have a television in the living room with cable (HBO and Showtime are included) and you are free to relax in there while you are here. We have WiFi and a kitchen with tons of equipment in it for you to use. There is a built-in heating unit in the guest bedroom.
No pets, $600 deposit.
Clean up after yourself if you use the kitchen/living room/bathroom.
Don't slam doors.
Lock the front door!
Don't leave the heater on when you leave the house.
Be considerate of noise level at night.
Don't bring over additional guests without letting us know.
No smoking cigarettes in the house.
No pets in the house.
Don't take any of the guides/maps with you when you leave, please and thank you.
Have a great time in San Francisco!!!
