Attractive end terrace stone house with central heating, wood burning stove and electric heater. Only 15 mins from Bangor by car. Very quiet location, great walks right from the front door over hills with stunning mountain and sea views. Very rural setting with woods, fields, ponies and sheep.
The two bedroomed house is on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park in a tiny village. Ideal base for exploring the beautiful Snowdownia mountains and the stunning Anglesea coast. There is a good quality acoustic piano in the living room which you can play between 9am and 10pm. The house is full of interesting books and pictures. Mountains, sea and river 10 minutes drive away. 15 minutes drive to Bangor, Caernarfon, Menai Bridge and Llanberis, all well worth a visit. Bethesda is nearer and has good shops, pubs and cafes.
Bed linen, towels and toilet roll are not normally provided. If this is a problem you can request them. The cooker and fridge are small. You can buy wood for the stove at the local garage.
The single bed is a foam mattress on the floor.
Guests will have the run of the house.

This is a Welsh speaking area and in places like Bethesda and Caernarfon you will always hear the language spoken. Apart from the mountains there are amazing Norman castles to visit at Caernarfon, Beaumaris and Conwy; National Trust houses at Bangor and Plas Newydd, and fantastic beaches on Anglesey and on the Lleyn Peninsula.
