I live in the village so can be on hand should you need advice on where to go. The house has leaflets, maps and guest recommendations for eateries. Bus stops are outside the cottage giving easy access to Skipton or Ilkley. There is a train station in Ilkley for access to Leeds or Bradford.
The top double bedroom is an old beam attic room and is low head height. The third bedroom is a walk through room that gives access to the attic stairs. It is recommended that the fifth person is a child for the foldaway bed. We can provide a travel cot and high chair. The middle bedroom can be a twin or a double and is next to the bathroom. This is a cosy cottage (please see floor plans).
- This house is non-smoking and no pets. It is expected that guests will be respectful to the neighbours and local residents. Guests are expected to strip their beds upon departure and leave the cottage clean.
- There is no charge for the fifth person as they will be accommodated on a put up bed in the walk through room. I recommend that this is used for a child. This is not a private room. It can accommodate adults but they must be aware that this is a fold away bed and the room does not offer privacy.
- Parking is on the Main Street outside of the property.
- The owner lives locally so can sort any issues you may have promptly.
I have been hosting people from all over the world in my cottage for over seven years. I love the village and take a real pride in my holiday cottage. I run it personally because I believe in the personal touch. I want people to have a cosy, relaxing stay in a beautiful place.
