3 Bamboos is on a beautifully landscaped property, with a large variety of exotic plants growing and bearing fruit just outside your window. We woke up to the sound of birds and howling monkeys every morning. We stayed in the treehouse which was a wonderful experience. The main room sleeps 3 people comfortably. It's very tastefully decorated while still giving you the feeling that you are surrounded by nature. The bathroom is spacious, located on a separate tree with a short bridge leading over to it from the bedroom. There is a small kitchen is outside in the corner of the deck, equipped with basic cooking tools, a stove, a coffee maker, rice cooker, mixer, toaster, fridge. We cooked breakfast every day and ate it on the deck while watching the birds. In the evenings you can use the outside barbecue by the pool if you don't feel like driving to a restaurant. My daughter enjoyed the pool a lot, which is great for children while also big enough for an actual swim after a hot day. We were very fortunate to have a sloth move in to one of the trees during our stay. The property is in a quiet neighborhood, about 5-10 minutes drive away from the beach and restaurants. Laetitia and her husband are wonderful hosts always around and available for questions and chit chat. I recommend taking the boat tour to the Yorkin village. While it's may seem expensive at first, we though it was well worth the money and anded up being the highlight of our trip.
