The food/beverages in the fridge, along with coffee, tea, spices, cooking oils and is complimentary. The garage fridge and large kitchen pantry is private.
The upper cabinet to the left of the coffee maker is empty for you to use to store your own food stuffs.
Please, if you would like to join us in our efforts to reduce landfill waste: recycle all plastic/paper/cans/glass/metal into the big white bin to the lower/right of the sink all food waste, paper towels, napkins, paper plates go into the green container with lid to the upper right of the sink,
Garbage, which should be minimal, goes into the small, plastic lined waste can next to the green container in the kitchen.
When any of the indoor bins are full, they go into the larger, labeled bins in the garage and then the gardener will empty them.
BIRDS AND FISH
The bird food and peanuts are located in the red cabinet on the terrace. If so inclined, please fill the ‘chicken dish’ with a small scoop of seeds, once a day if needed. The peanuts are for optional feeding of the Blue jays; we usually do this a few times a week by throwing the nuts on the terrace in front of the feeder. The fish will appreciate a meal once a day, anytime, a tablespoon full would be plenty.
There is high speed wireless available under the network connection: 5507 Inverness Avenue. The case sensitive code is ilovebebe. There is also another wireless connection: Home-6C12. The case sensitive code is: apron9683crumbs. General Cable TV is available from all 3 TV’s and Netflix is available to use from the fireplace area /TV area. There is a wireless speaker in the book shelf to the right of the TV......please feel free to connect your device to listen to music outside.
To turn on the backyard lights; the switch is located in the rear bedroom next to the TV cabinet, all the way to the right. There are also switches for terrace lights next to each sliding door.
Additional firewood is available in the garage. Please use the screen at all times and do not leave the house with an untended fire. Fireplace flue is open and ready to use. Newspapers for starting are under TV.
It would be great to not leave the heat above 60 when leaving the house, as upon your return, it will warm quickly by using a 65-68 degree setting. Please make sure thermostat is in the off position when checking out.
Please keep rear bathroom door closed while showering with fan on, otherwise, smoke/security alarm will go in bedroom. The house has no A/C.
Operation is quite simple. There are two buttons to the left of the temperature gauge. The first is for the light and the second for the jets. Please make sure both buttons are off when you close up the spa after using. Pool towels are in the linen closet in the garage, above the shoe rack. The outdoor shower is actually completely private and boasts hot and cold water.
The pool is solar heated in the summer, from May 1. Otherwise it is very brisk! Pool toys are in pool equipment room. Please NO GLASSES by the pool and pool terraces. There are plenty of plastic colored glasses in the kitchen cabinet left of sink.
Please feel free to use the pool light, dimmer switch located inside the exterior, pedestrian garage door and also, please make sure the pool light is always turned off before exiting the pool area.
The sliding door from dining room/library to the patio is bit difficult to open. Try to go through the living room sliders.
There are TV trays in hall closet for cozy fireside dining.
The pool equipment will turn on daily starting around 10:00 am for 6-8 hours and the pump can squeak for 15 minutes, not to worry.
The water filtration system in the garage will run automatically around 12:30 ish am for around an hour.
No smoking is allowed inside the house.
Please keep all gates to the garden closed, so we can keep the deer out of the garden. This is very, very important. Damage to plants is deductable from security deposit.
The gardener will mow lawns, clean terraces, rake the driveway, empty trash, and do general maintenance every 5 days or so and he will tend the vegetables every other day in late afternoon. He can pick you in-season produce if you let him know.
The pool man comes every Monday, noon-ish for 15 minutes usually late morning. You will most likely never see him.
Departure time is 1 pm and please leave the key under the front mat, locking the door behind you. We hope you had a wonderful stay!

4.Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.
5.Only use appliances for their intended uses.
6.Pets are NOT allowed.
7. Parking is off street in property driveway.
8. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate.
9. Swimming Pool: No children under the age of 10 permitted in pool at any time without adult supervision. When using the pool, remember there is a certain risks associated with this facility.
10. The Fireplace is a wood burning only firebox. Do not burn paper other than to start the fire and use screen at all times and do not leave the property unoccupied with a active fire.
11. Water and Septic: The property is on a private water company and septic systems. The mineral content in the water is high. During a drought, the well water may have an odor. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to $(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). Storms: No refunds will be given for storms. On occasion, power will fail. House is equipped with flashlights, candles.
