Enjoy Uganda in our peaceful and comfortable two-bedroom home. Located on lovely hillside in Bweyogerere, a suburb of Kampala, this is a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area and all that Uganda has to offer.
Andrew is Ugandan; Elizabeth is American. We are based in the US but, during our stays in Kampala, we live at the house. When we're not there, we offer our home for rent.
BED & BATH
The home has two bedrooms--one with a queen bed each--and a bathroom with a shower and water heater. The bedrooms also contain mosquito nets for your comfort. All bed & bath linens are provided for you. A hairdryer is also available.
LIVING, DINING, & KITCHEN
The living room is comfortably furnished and is open to the dining area. The kitchen contains the essentials needed for your stay, including a gas+electric stove, sink, small fridge, cooking utensils, cookware, and dinnerware.
The home is situated on a spacious, peaceful private compound with a mango tree and, of course, plenty of palm trees! Enjoy the view of the hillside compound from the private front verandah.
The compound is fenced and there is a groundskeeper who handles the main gate. The entire compound consists of two small adjacent houses. Your neighbor next door is Alice (Andrew's mother) who speaks excellent English and works with an international foundation to run a local secondary school.
You will have access to the compound and two-bedroom home during your stay. Please make yourself at home, and feel free to borrow from our small assortment of regional guidebooks if you find them useful during your stay.

Elizabeth grew up in the US, Andrew was raised in Uganda. They met overseas and have been building a life together across two continents ever since. She works in education; he works in healthcare. They love exploring and are committed to making their corner of the world a better place--in any small way that they can.
