Host will be living in house, but not always there - however available for emergency contact. Will always be able to receive and welcome guests. Full set of instructions, manuals etc. left with guests together with handy local information brochures (sightseeing ideas, excursions, tours etc).
Excellent frequent bus or private taxi transfers from airport, 15 minutes away (Host can offer collection and drop off at nearest bus alighting point). A popular commuting town for Edinburgh and Fife, it lies close to major road links. Dalmeny rail station provides regular commuting trains, and there are also frequent bus services. Reliable and regular buses and trains into and from city of Edinburgh (15-45 minutes).
