Alto is on the 5th floor of a well maintained, typically French listed building with no lift. The apartment is at the end of a newly renovated corridor and stairwell. The last flight of stairs are a little steep.
The location of this holiday rental could not be better. You're only 500 meters from the main shopping area with several designer shops such as Chanel, Max Mara and Louis Vuitton. 400 meters from the beach. As for eating out, there is an array of good restaurants in the surrounding streets or a five minute walk will take you to the Old Town with its abundance of bars, cafés and restaurants.
Should you want to explore further afield, the train station is only 15 minutes away on foot and the nearest tram stop a five minute walk.
