One bedroom flat on the 3rd floor of a pretty Victorian house on Sinclair Gardens – a quiet street in west Kensington, minutes away from excellent transport links of Shepherd’s Bush, Holland Park and Olympia.
Recently decorated and furnished with my things, the flat is quiet and cosy. The bathroom is really nice, with an excellent shower, and the bedroom is pretty with a very comfortable bed. The flat also has good storage space and the kitchen stocked with basics and ready to go. It's the perfect base for a single person or couple looking for a place to stay in west London.
The location is excellent, there are three tube lines and a number of buses within easy reach making central and east London very accessible - Shepherd's Bush to Liverpool Street (direct via Oxford Circus) takes just 22 minutes on the Central Line. There's also a cycle hire stand round the corner should you prefer to travel by bike.
Shepherd's Bush itself is a great part of town, its exciting mix of cultures and community converging in a network of streets, restaurants, bars and shops around the green. There's a proper old London market on Saturday mornings and a good local music and theatre scene. For shopaholics there is a huge Westfield, and if the weather is nice you can go to Holland Park for a stroll. Food and drink options cater for all tastes – the area is well known for its plethora of Turkish and Middle Eastern restaurants or there are a couple of excellent gastropubs round the corner for those that prefer more traditional food and pizzas.
Since it's my own home, I'd appreciate a little information about yourself and why you are coming to London, if you're interested. Hope to hear from you soon!
My flat is on the third floor, and there is no lift. Not a big deal, but one to avoid if you don't like taking the stairs.
