Looking for typical Montreal architecture? Look no further! This room is in a bright and cosy victorian appartment: woodwork, high ceilings, wrought iron balcony and stairs. A few steps away from Jarry metro station and Jarry Park. You will be in the heart of Villeray, known for its lovely local shops and cafés. It's the perfect spot to discover Montreal and its neighborhood lifestyle.
Make sure to read the whole add before booking :)
THE ROOM: spacious room, Queen-size bed, bright and calm (towards the peaceful alley). No lock on the door.
THE FLAT: Third floor so very bright even during winter. Building goes back to the 1910s, which means squeeky doors and floors, manual heating and no fan in the bathroom... but that's also what makes it so charming!
ACCESS: The flat is on the 3rd floor so keep in mind there are two flights of stairs to climb, no elevator. There's no curfew so you'll be free to come and go as you wish.
KITCHEN: You have access to the kitchen to cook - there's a section just for you with dishes and utencils. Guests may eat their meals in the dinning room.
BATHROOM: small and lovely shared bathroom with clawfoot tub (shower with curtains).
LAUNDRY: Washer and dryer are available upon request. $2 fee per laod.
Don't worry, we'll go over this and other details when you get here. Remember, it's vintage :)
Interakcija s gostima
I'm often around to answer your questions in either English, French, Italian or Spanish. I love to chat with my travelers but rarely get the chance to hang out with them. But feel free to let me know what kind of interaction you're looking for.
There's only one room for guests so you'll be the only ones here with me during your stay. However, since I leave here permanently, my friends and family sometimes visit :)
WHEATHER: We have all four (intense!) seaons. Remember it can be 40C in summer and -40C in winter. Bring appropriate clothes.
WHAT THIS PLACE IS N O T :
-Modern: It's not a modern building or condo.
-Downtown: It's a lively neighborhood yes, but not downtown. No clubs and raves (they're 10 min away by metro though). Bars: That we have!
-Commercial/Shopping: You'll find local shops and cafés, but for McDonald's and Starbucks, again, take the metro.

-It is essential to preserve tranquility in the building at all times.
