The cottage dates back to the early 18th century and still has many of its original features.
The bedroom is light and airy with double bed and views of the surrounding countryside.

Our cottage is cosy with quirky and unique features.
It is traditionally decorated and has a beautiful garden with stunning views of the Clwydian Range. It is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural beauty, within easy reach of Snowdonia National Park and close to the North Wales Coast; the City of Chester is just 15miles away.
Guests have access to the kitchen and dining room to reheat and eat their own food and make hot drinks if they wish when the kitchen is not being used to cook family meals although we will try to be flexible about this.
In addition Guests have the use of a sitting room with wall mounted TV, inglenook open fire and accesses to the garden room and gardens.

We are happy to recomend local walks and places of interest and will help in any way we can to make your stay enjoyable, howerver we will also respect your the privacy of guests who want to do thier own thing.
We please request no smoking or outdoor shoes/walking boots in the house. We are relaxed and friendly and do not have any particular rules. We just ask that you are mindful of the fact that this is our home and that you would treat it with respect.
I enjoy the countryside and living in this beautiful area.
I love travelling, eating out, reading, music and of course meeting people.
I have lived in my home for thirty years and brought my four sons up here so it has been very much a family home although they have now mainly left the nest!
I work as a counsellor/ therapist for the NHS and also do some private practice.
We keep chickens who keep us supplied with fresh eggs and have a cat named Milly.
