The condo is good, like new, everything works. It is on the ground level, has a patio, very close to the beach - literally, can't be any closer. The condo was better "stocked" than we thought, e.g. had a few folding chairs we could take with us to beaches, a cooler, lot of beach towels. Two things notoriously missing from the kitchen were a tea kettle and a toaster. The description could be better with more details and pictures.
The kids bedroom (with 2 bunk beds) may be too crowded for four; we only had 2 kinds and they were comfortable there. Note that this BR does not have a window, but the wall separating it from the living room has the gap between it and the ceiling, that provides for good ventilation (the living room has powerful and fairly quiet air conditioner).
Ruben, the host, was cooperative and very responsive, replied to our text messages within 10 min and took actions.
The condo is part of a gated community, quiet and well tended. The community is called "Continental Beach Resort" and is one of several such communities located next to one another, without fences between them, so you can walk freely, but can't drive through. The next one is called "Casa del Mar".
We visited in late December. There were large waves on the local beach (due to strong winds) - OK for adults, but not safe for small children to swim. I don't know how this depends on the season. The beach was virtually empty - sometimes we were alone on 1/2 mile long beach, sometimes we could see a few other small groups of people. Walking along the beach is very pleasant - you have at least 2 miles of uninterrupted smooth sand. You can find more quiet sea at Luquillo beach, which is a public beach 10 min drive away (costs $5 per car for entry). We spent a lot of time there; there were many people, but it did not feel as over-crowded. There is food and various (paid) activities there, like jet ski and flying pads. Also a little bit of coral reef for snorkeling (not much fish though and no snorkeling equipment rental).
