I am retired and a small business owner living in rural Rhode Island. I am an avid gardener gardening until the snow has covered the earth. My gardens are filled with native plants to attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds while the fish pond attracts frogs, turtles, and other amphibians. Deer, wild turkeys and other wild life frequently appear in the garden seeking an edible plant or a drink of pond water.
Known as the 'RI Water Lady, I am a University of Rhode Island Master Gardener volunteer and enjoy talking to people about water conservation and rainwater harvesting. I sell rain barrels and water conservation products. I enjoy sharing my home and gardens with visitors and hope you will consider staying at my home during your time in southern New England. If you are seeking a quiet, calm atmosphere this is the place.
