SUBJECT: Information for occupancy
Below is the information you will need to access the condo and some other related information. I will give you the lock box code when all arrangements and payments have been finalized. Please call me if you have any questions or need anything. You can move in any time after 3pm. Everything will be all ready for you.
The lockbox code is XXXX
To open, punch in code. Remove key
To close, depress reset button on bottom
Punch in code and close lock box.
Tab at bottom of key pad is to reset.
Please return key to lockbox when you depart.
(I don't mean to insult your intelligence but there are several lockbox types.)
If you will have an auto, please put parking visitor pass on your dashboard immediately when you arrive as the towing company is ubiquitous in their desire to patrol. Because of the proximity to Shands Hospital, many people use our parking lot and it has become necessary to use a towing company to keep it for guests only. If your car gets towed, unfortunately there is nothing I can do about it. If you have a visitor during the week between 8 and 5, please ask them to park on SW 16th Street as this is not monitored as part of Summit House Condominiums.
When you depart, please return the parking pass to the condo for the next guests.

If you are familiar with cooking on gas stoves you don’t need to read this. However if you have any apprehension or have never used a gas stove just call me. I don’t mean to insult your intelligence but some folks have not used gas for cooking and we want you to feel good about the condo and cooking as you need to.
The laundry room is on SW 16th Court, directly in front of the pool. The access code to the laundry room is 3260. Punch it in to open the door.
Please get a new (EMAIL HIDDEN) The cards are dispensed at the machine in the laundry room. You can add $$ or get a new card by going to the same website. Please call of you have trouble with the laundry card.
The pool is open and I hear it is really nice. Please enjoy it and please bring pool towels from home as there are none in the condo.
There are two sets of towels for each bedroom. They are in the closet. The black and gray wash cloths in the bathroom are for anything that might stain the white ones, e.g. makeup etc. Dish towels are over the sink.
If you should need or want to clean anything, there are cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink, under the bathroom sink, in the heater closet and in the coat closet near the front door. Some folks stay for two or more weeks and want access to these supplies. Use as you need to or not at all.
Attractions on Campus:
You may not have time to sightsee but if you do, you might enjoy the Harn Museum or the Museum of Natural History on the UF Campus. Access UF for additional items of interest to include the Butterfly Garden -- all good sites to see and located in close proximity to each other. I believe, but not sure, they are open on Saturday. If you want to see the UF campus, I suggest a weekend drive as the weekdays will be very crowded. Do stay within the 20 MPH speed limit as they will give you a ticket – I know from experience.
If you come in from I75 to Archer Road, be sure to stay within the speed limits. I got a ticket several weeks ago and was just a little over the limit -- then saw motorcycle officer stop another car immediately afterward. If you are on the UF campus, the speed limit is 20 miles per hour and it is strictly enforced. Don't want you to get a traffic ticket!!
General: If anything needs repair during your visit, please call me immediately. We will have it repaired asap.
Please leave the visitor pass(s) on the dining table.
Please put all used linens in the basket in the closets.

I am a retired professor and my husband and I manage several furnished and unfurnished properties near the University of Florida and Shands Hospital. My husband is a retired engineer and we have been working as a team on rental property for about 30 years. We have met some wonderfully interesting people and we take pride in providing quality living spaces in our condos and apartments. Our philosophy is that we would only rent a place we would live in.
