I live in a lovely Parisian one-bedroom apartment of 42m2, on the second floor of an old Parisian building, with wooden floor et moldings on the ceiling.
One bedroom flat (with a living room of course), 42m2, on the second floor of a early XXth century building.
There is a wooden floor and moldings on the ceiling. A "kitchenette" (so Parisian) with a washing machine and a dish-washer. A small and convenient bathroom (very Parisian...) with a shower and WC (very very Parisian, so...).
The bedroom overlook the courtyard so it is quite calm. The living room overlook the Tolbiac street that is know to be one of the longest street of Paris but not the quietest, but there is a double-glazed window.
Also, you will find the complete "rainy days' pack" : Wifi, optical fiber, Canal+ (a French Channel), a computer too and a TV in front of the bed and a hundred DVD or Blu-Ray : the rainy day's pack is complete.
If you feel adventurous, there is a nice bakery in the same building, a very big cinema nearby, a sunday market, busses and subways to go further.
And if you want to invite friends, there is a couch in the living room.
Kitchen, bathroom, TV, Hi-Fi, Wii, Internet, video-projector, CD, Books (in French of course), DVD, Blu-Ray : you will have access to everything.
Being located on the second floor , the apartment is not very bright. But plants manage to survive.
There is only one bedroom, so the other accommodation is a "sofa bed" in the living room. But you can be two in it.
If you could not break everything and be king with the neighbors, it will be perfect.
