The location of the house wasn't what we had expected, since the photos posted along with the listing show white, sandy beaches. Also, since the name of the place is "Beachfront" that lead us to believe the house was a *beachfront* property. A better name would be swamp front or lagoon front, as there is no beach within walking distance.
The house itself is lovely and new construction, and is 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms. The kitchen is large and clean, and there is a nice living room. Oddly, the kitchen lacks a refrigerator so you have to ask for one of the bedrooms to be left unlocked if you want to store any water /drinks in the fridge.
One challenge with the house is that it's hard to escape the heat. We were not comfortable sitting in the living room with no fan, and the house lacks air conditioning. So unfortunately, we were relegated to the bedroom as the only comfortable place (it had the one and only ceiling fan) if we wanted to avoid the mosquitoes outside. Since there wasn't a beach, going for a swim wasn't an option. There is a pool under construction, so perhaps in the future that will give guests an option to cool off.
The breakfast we had was amazing - delicious and filling, and a beautiful variety of fruits and breads. The team at the house was incredibly kind and helpful, and made our stay there comfortable.
There is one restaurant within walking which was very good with excellent food and service.
