Hi, I'm Emi. I was born and raised in Tokyo, but I also lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for three years. I joined a program at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and was responsible for caring of young children who were on the organ transplant waiting list. I also taught Japanese as the volunteer to students at University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Melon.
Now I'm back living in Tokyo and working part-time as the medical secretary at a clinic. I'm also running a consulting business as an aesthetician, medical assistant, facial masseuse, and kimono expert with my business partner, Tuhin. Why don't you wear yukata like me and go to summer festivals? We can let you wear and rent it out! If you're interested in any of these services, please let us know!
I'm into snowboarding (I know a lot of great spots), watching the movies (ones with happy endings), going to gym, listening to EDM and eating spicy food. I'm a super outgoing and laid-back person.
I'm really looking forward to meeting you and hope that you will enjoy a comfortable, relaxing, and awesome stay at my place. =)
Hi, I'm Tuhin. I'm originally from India but lived in the US for several years. I went to university in Illinois and started working in St. Louis as a trader, but decided to quit my job and move to Japan. I'm currently working as an English teacher at a conversation school in Tokyo as well as running a medical consulting and local tour business. If you'd like help with any medical-related issues or simply tourism in Tokyo, please do not hesitate to ask!
I'm a pretty laid-back guy who likes playing video games (like Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, Pro Evolution), watching TV shows and movies (where do I start: Castle, Bones, Game of Thrones, Modern Family, Family Guy / Star Wars, The Dark Knight, Avengers, and so on), and playing soccer. I'm a pretty outdoorsy, active guy too. I like to go to the beach in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
I'd be happy to show you around Tokyo or just grab dinner or a beer with you if you want. Or if you'd rather prefer your privacy, that's great too! I've been in Japan since 2013, and I speak enough Japanese to get around and know some great spots that I can recommend. If there's anything else you want to know about me, please feel free to ask. Emi and I hope to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Thanks!
