Nuestra estancia, la de Alicia Herrero y la mía, fue la peor que hemos tenido en Airbnb.
Our stay, mine and my friend Alicia Herrero, at Lyly's place was the worst that we had in Airbnb. Being 5 people for one bathroom was the min problem that we had. This is not the treatment for service for which we paid and we don't think that anyone deserves what we had to went through.
When we came, our bedroom was clean and tidy, not like the living room, where Lily slept, with dirty clothes -including underwear- on one of the sofas.
In the kitchen, the boiler was constantly leaking. This problem was "smartly" solved by putting a bowl under. This was located on the same table where we could have breakfast, since the table in the living room was always in use by Lily working with her laptop. Therefore, the day in which we didn't wanted to go to a restaurant, we had to have dinner in our bedroom, since it was the only place where we felt comfortable enough.
Also, in the middle of our stay, the shower over flooded. Apparently the neighbors downstairs where carrying out reforms and plaster was obstructing the pipes. This impede us to take a shower for almost 2 days. Lily told us that it wasn't the first time that it happened.
Later on, the day before leaving, she told us that instead of leaving at 18:00 -as we previously agreed- we had to leave at 10:00. Her reason was that she told us that she was ok with us leaving at 18:00 because she didn't know by that time at which hour the new people would come. After a while we agreed to leave the room at 10:00, leave our luggage in the living room so that we could go to the beach, come back for a shower and leave her place.
The day after, that's what we did, we said goodbye and went to the beach. At around 14:00, when we were ordering our meal in a restaurant, she called us imposing us to come back to give her the keys. We explained her that we just ordered food.
- Can you come here to take the keys?
- No, I can't. But one of you can come.
- And what will we do after to take our luggage?
- No problem - she said - I'll be here.
- Why don't you give them your keys then?
- Because they are MY keys.
The conversation ended without any agreement and we came back after having lunch, left the keys on the table and getting ready for a shower. She didn't liked that idea, so she turned off the water. After a really uncomfortable argue, she let us take a shower. We left as soon as possible and we will never come back.
We wanted to share this with everyone and with the Airbnb team to aware you all. It is absolutely inconceivable.
