Help yourself to tea and coffee and feel free to bring your own food to cook!
Relaxed family home: Dutch Barge on a charming leafy island on the Thames.
We've been building our home from scratch into this Humber Keel Dutch Barge and we are thrilled with the result. It's very light and airy and spacious. The boat is called 'Manoah', which means 'Resting-Place'.
Outdoor deck, living room, kitchen, bathroom. Feel free to play on the baby grand piano...
Please note that as access to the Barge is via a gangplank, you need to be relatively steady on your feet to come and go with ease. The indoor staircase is a little steep.
There is also a reasonable walk from where you can park to the Barge - since we are on an island. About 10 minutes by foot.

Can help you to organise travel and local walks, and can recommend good pubs and restaurants. Will meet you in person at the beginning of your stay to show you in and walk you round the home.
The island on which we live is an enchanting place - tucked away from the main roads, it is surprisingly quiet and deceptively rural for something so close to the hustle and bustle of London. Enjoy the deck space in good weather. The island is a private island with other residents, so please respect their privacy.
I'm sorry that we can't accommodate dogs. You are welcome to smoke on the deck whilst watching the ducks go by.
We can set up a carry cot in addition to the two adults in the double room at no extra charge.
Unfortunately because of our fire insurance we cannot allow guests to use the wood-burning stove.
