Fantastic one bed ground floor flat in the cosmopolitan area of Leith.
Excellent choice of pubs and restaurants in the area; Leith was recently named as one the UK's top hotspots. My flat is a one bedroom, ground floor, new build flat in a quiet residential area. Great public transport links to the city centre (15mins by bus). It's a home away from home very welcoming and cosy so you can enjoy the city then come back and relax.
This is a very cosy and welcoming flat which is easy to get to it and also benefits from private parking to the back of the building I can provide you with a pass if required at check-in. You will have the entire flat to yourself during your visit so I have cleared out half of my very large wardrobe to accommodate for hanging your clothes, the bedroom has a double bed which has a very comfortable memory foam mattress and towels/necessities will be provided.
Interaction with guests
I will meet you to check in/check out and make sure everything is to your satisfaction, however I am a fairly hands-off host.
Happy to take anyone on a short walk around the neighbourhood so you know where everything is (bus stops, supermarket, coffee etc).
I absolutely love the neighbourhood so have put together a folder of recommended places for drinks and food.
After check-in, I am available on my phone anytime should you need me.
We are very friendly and helpful with local advice and just a call away if you have any questions.
The Shore is one of the best places to live in town in my opinion! There are a number of award winning restaurants (Michelin star), cafés and some of the best bars and pubs in Edinburgh just a short walk away, this is a great area!. It has its own unique vibe and provides the perfect escape from the city centre during the Fringe festival. It has plenty of supermarkets within walking distance Tesco and Sainsbury’s and every Saturday there is a market selling local produce just a 5 minute walk away!
We are spoilt for choice with public transport and buses go into the city centre every 10minutes, the nearest bus stop is just around the corner and one bus (number 16) goes up to Princes Street - a journey which takes only 20 minutes. Further along the road (just across the bridge) is another bus stop with a selection of 4 different buses taking you to all parts of town.
A single bus fare costs £1.60 or a Day Ticket (unlimited for the day) will cost £4.
