Totally awesome apartment with spectacular views! Train stops above and below the apartment so you don't have to hike up! Or rent a car (the smallest you can find because neighborhood streets are TINY) and park at the apartment. The grocery, a butcher, restaurants, and post office are nearby. Only draw back was having only one shower and one toilet -in separate rooms-and thankfully, one of those is only needed once a day! Our family of 6 spent 5 nights total and visited Montreaux, two other nearby towns, two nearby castles, and attended the 2016 Glion University graduation ceremony. Pretty much everyone in the service industry spoke English (and French and some other languages). We cooked breakfast a few days and dinner a few others to save on costs and everything we needed but the food was available at the apartment.
There's a lot more we didn't do so we definitely want to plan another trip with a smaller car-or better yet motorcycles! Roads in Switzerland were very well maintained and the Geneva airport was a breeze to fly in/out of (an hour away from this apartment). Watch your speed on the interstate-I'm pretty sure I have a speeding ticket coming in the mail :-( And FYI, WIFI in Switzerland was dismally slow everywhere we went.
