The house is a 25-minute walk to Tufts! Buses to Davis & Harvard Squares a couple blocks away (Red Line subway spots are Davis or Alewife Station).
4 bedrooms are available (separate and searchable "Historic New England" listings); one with a full bed and three with room for 1 guest each. No pets or smoking. Washer and dryer are free and in the basement!
This is a very old house, with wallpaper that still needs to be removed, but the kind of craftsmanship invested into the structure of the house that elicits the nostalgia of pride in one's work. A diamond in the rough, this antique house with now almost 100 years of personal family history, is mine to share, and the area to be explored.
Every space will be accessible except other private bedrooms, and the host's personal computer. Feel free to bring your own wireless devices and have access to our free 75mbps WiFi!
The back yard is overgrown, but private and peaceful if one needs a nature fix. If that's not enough, there's always the beautiful Minuteman Bike Trail, or Dilboy Memorial Stadium for tennis, basketball courts and a swimming pool, all this straddled along the Mystic River.

If I'm not away from home and working, I would love to recommend personally all of the amenities in the area. If you prefer privacy, to work or to unwind, I of course respect that too! Sometimes a weary traveler needs a place to rest and recuperate. Coffee via french press, hot tea by stove top kettle, and Keurig are all available to use any time. I please ask that guests clean up after themselves after each use.
Quiet hours begin at 10pm because I usually have early morning shifts. If downstairs, TV is still allowed but please turn it down.
Pets are unfortunately not allowed at this time.
Smoking is not allowed indoors. Please throw cigarettes away in the trash outside.
Feel free to come and go as you please during the day. You're welcome to use the Wi-Fi, read, watch a movie, use NETFLIX, etc.

Hey fellow bnb'ers! My name's Kyle and I've grown up in the Boston area my whole life. I moved into this family-owned house (80 years and counting!) back in February 2015 by myself. By June, I opened my doors to Airbnb guests and have been running it ever since. I first decided to open up the other rooms to travelers and bnb'ers for a number of reasons:
I love meeting new people and hearing their stories, whether they be about them personally or about their travels.
I enjoy hosting about as much as I like being a guest in someone's events. I love bringing people together as well as being where the fun is at.
I live in the house I am hosting, have a 20lb. dog named Wallace who's the man, and have a total of 4 listings available that may or may not be taken by other guests at the times you are looking to book (I get this one asked a lot). My dog is very friendly and calm. The most he'll do to bug you is if you're awake in the morning and the door is open when I go to work, he'll often come visit you and lay on the floor because he doesn't like to be alone. He's one of the best dogs I've ever known, let alone had the pleasure to own, but if you don't like dogs please look elsewhere for accommodation.

I'm currently a host and working professional. I haven't traveled much outside of the US, but my top destinations are parts of western Europe, South American and Southeast Asia.

See you soon!
