More about our lovely building and neighborhood
Our new building has three private rooms from the 1904 vintage era. This building has a VERY interesting history and features comfortable rooms with lovely wood floors and wainscotting down the hallways. Restored with antiques and your very own private room, shared kitchen and an AMAZING large bathroom with the worlds most amazing shower (think mexican tiled heaven with 6 shower heads ) bathroom is shared only with the other bed and breakfast rooms and our night manager .We have two other bathrooms for your use also. Our new space is surrounded by art and creative studios with our resident Sweet Jack Russell wandering around with your host to say hello occasionally. Dog is kept out of the guest rooms unless asked in so note that they are very clean but probably not for those highly allergic to dogs/ not allergy free. You will have full access to our kitchen and it's cooking facilities, bathroom and wifi. Your room is your own private calm space. Although your room is private you share the building with the owner and her own art studio and artists from diverse back grounds who are very respectful of all guests. This space is lovely and fairly quiet most of the time(quiet hours are 10pm - 8am) but it is in a hopping part of town some exciting events happen here occasionally, please if you need absolute silence to sleep this may not be the place for you. So don't expect crickets singing as this is NOT a suburban area, it is an industrial Arts district. This is a tidy but eclectic space and it is a creative oasis that is easily accessible to and from downtown Seattle., The building now (email hidden) ,coffee shop and saloon right downstairs and the neighborhood features lots of fun shops and restaurants within feet of our door. Easy access to many tourist attractions via bus that goes in front of the house to downtown Seattle. The room is tidy and all amenities are available to you plus your own bathroom. Please feel free to purchase food and use kitchen at your leisure. Coffee/tea/ in the morning (self serv) will provide all linens, towels, hair dryer, curling irons etc. If you have a special request please feel free to ask, we probably have it....we have everything :).
We no longer provide laundry services, but for longer stays will arrange a time to use laundry in the building.
This building is lovely and is 112+ years old so please be respectful of her and she will provide you with a sweet oasis from the bustling city. We enjoy making your stay comfortable. This (email hidden)ly neighborhood with a bus right across the street for your 15 minute ride into downtown. You will have lots of fun but if you do not want a fun cultural experience then you probably want to stay in a vanilla flavored hotel and not here in our Neopolitan flavored art heaven. Many guests have enjoyed their stay in Georgetown with us ,as you can see from the reviews . We will try to help you get around and be comfortable in your stay. Easy access to downtown/space needle/ Alki Beach and points beyond... You will be provided with an amazing map of Georgetown and a Lonely planet guide to Seattle upon your arrival. Enjoy and we look forward to hosting and meeting you in 2017

I am a visual artist who is the director of a Non profit community Arts and Cultural Center. I'm a fairly warm person, i like to give hugs when needed (this includes you) spend time with friends and my dogs. The guest rooms are located in the Centers lovely 1904 building and we share the building with professional artist studios (mine included). The building is truly a vintage charmer and I have been doing the renovations myself. I think you will enjoy my handy work. Please note that the rooms are on the second floor and our space is in the city so its active and not always cricket quiet. I look forward to meeting you. I have two small calm Jack Russel's who may greet you but do'nt stay in the space at night. I enjoy animals, art, gardening and people.. .
This is not a hotel and I do not have staff so it is appreciated that you let me know your arrival time (as close as possible) and communicate this BEFORE your arrival as I arrange my day around meeting you. Late arrivals may be possible with prior arrangement and may be handled by our night manager Rick.
I am an easy going person but always try to keep our space mellow NO SMOKING IN BUILDING / NO VAPING/ NO POT …you can do all these things in our Smoking area outside. I am easily accessible if you need anything, I am happy to oblige most requests and strive to make every visitor a friend but I also will give you your space. I try to take Sundays off to rest and have time with my dogs.
I am also happy to help you plan a fun day here in Seattle. I even have a lonely planet guide to Seattle if you want to borrow it.
I cant wait to meet you!
