Female guests only.
Before you book, please let me know what time you want to arrive, as my timetable is different each day.
Cosy, clean and light single room in a 2nd floor flat in Tooting. You’ll have shared use of the bathroom, kitchen, living room. There is secure parking behind the flats.
My flat is on the 2nd floor of a low-rise building, where there are only six flats altogether, which makes it a safe space for women who are travelling alone. Please be aware that there is no lift/elevator.
You'll be sharing the bathroom and kitchen with me. There is also a spacious living room, with a dining area.
There is a small patch of green at the back of the flats, but as we're 5 minutes away from the open space of Tooting Common, why limit yourself? The Lido (open air swimming pool) and tennis courts are on the common.
You'll have access to all parts of the flat. Except my bedroom!

I love being an Airbnb host and have had the pleasure of welcoming over 20 female guests from all over the world who were travelling alone. Women like you.
A little bit about me - I am an Employability Tutor and I teach/coach unemployed people to market themselves to either find jobs or start their own businesses. Socially, I love meeting new people, discovering new parts of London, dancing and writing poetry.
I am very friendly and approachable, and will always try to make my guests feel as welcome as possible. I have lived in London all my life and love this city that I call home - I am proud to be a Londoner!
I do like to have some interaction with my guests, to get to know a bit about who I'm sharing my space with, but I also respect people's privacy if sometimes you just want to be on your own. Hopefully though, you'll want to make the most of your time here and will get out and about experiencing what London has to offer.
I'm happy to sit and chat with you if you want and give you information about the local area or help with transport.
Female guests only.
I would prefer a non-smoker, but if you have to smoke, there is no smoking in the flat (this includes leaning out of the window) or in the building. You can smoke (tobacco only, no drugs!) outside, at the back of the building.
Please be mindful that you will be sharing my home, so make sure you clean up after yourself in the communal areas, especially the kitchen and bathroom, leaving everything as you found it.
I'm very conscious about not wasting resources, so please make sure you switch the power off after using things, that you have a full load before using the washing machine, turn off lights/heaters etc.
Please respect the fact that this is my home, my sanctuary, and there are other people in the building, so keep noise to a minimum.
No shoes in the flat because I have wooden floors and people living below me. Slippers or flip flops are fine.
No children or pets.
I was born in London and have lived in SW London all my life. I enjoy watching films, listening to music and dancing and meeting up with my friends to discover some of the local independent pubs, restaurants and coffee shops that are springing up. I love that London, and my area in particular, is so diverse. I believe you can find anything you're looking for in London!
I am a fairly quiet person, but friendly.
