A cosy house with light and spacious living room, large kitchen, two bedrooms upstairs and a sleeping couch. Right opposite what we call 'the little castle', this place is green and quiet, yet very near the centre of the historic city of Leiden.
What I love about this house is that you can see the air from all rooms and corners. This makes it spacious and comfortable. There's two double beds upstairs in different rooms and a bathroom in between. Downstairs there's a couch and if need be two more people will be able to sleep here.
Guests will have a access to the whole house, including the garden and the small barn at the back where the washing machine is located. Guests don't need to share anything.
As mentioned, this is truely one of the most beautiful spots in Leiden, most people in the city will agree to that. It has almost a rural feel (and sound), neighbours do know each other and the little castle provides a unique view. At the same time you are at a close walking distance from the city center.
I hope all customers will feel at home and behave as they would behave at home: leave the property in place and in tact and with some respect to the neighbours.
My name is Alette and I live at one of the most beautiful spots in the historical city of Leiden, the Netherlands. Right opposite what we call the 'little castle', it's green and quiet, yet very near the city centre. I'm a single mom of a fantastic boy of 17 and I work as a social entrepreneur and intercultural management consultant. I've lived in West Africa for 10 years and although my house is definitely not an Africa museum, you do find traces of these times.
