This is one of our 4 apartments in the Lavanda house located in Rabac, a jewel with it's own gulf inside the gulf of Kvarner. The house hosted a remarkable number of tourists during the last 2.5 decades and it is still as young and handsome as ever.
The apartment is located on the first floor of the house. It is a pretty big apartment. It has 3 bedrooms. Each bedroom has a double bed in it and 1 of the bedrooms has also a single bed. There are 2 bathrooms (only one has a bathtub, so let's better say 1.5 bathrooms). There's also a living area with kitchen and a dining table. There's a pull-out sofa in the living area so there's place for 2 additional guests (7 in the bedrooms + 2 in the living area). The apartment has a nice terrace with a remarkable view at the gulf of Rabac. The terrace has a table and chairs and usually it is the place where our guests spend most of their time while they are not at the beach or sightseeing.
The space described above is entirely intended to be used by the guests of this apartment. There are no shared rooms. The other apartments in the house have their own entrances, rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, terraces etc. The only thing you'll have to share is the barbecue equipment if you'll have the need for it (just tell us and we will get it out).

Our family lives in one of the apartments in the house so someone is always at your service. Let's say we will be your good neighbors. First of all, we will respect your privacy. So don't worry, there is no "big brother". If you have any questions regarding directions, house necessities or you are in need of an advice regarding how to spend your vacation time, you can simply knock on our door. We will open it gladly.
There is no need to smoke inside the apartment. Just sit on the terrace and enjoy your cigarette outside while gazing into the blue/green scenery (or starlight at night).
The house has 3 other apartments so it would be nice from you not to disturb other guests by shouting and singing too loud, playing drums (unless they are those electrical drums with headphones), throwing chairs from the terrace to see if they are firm enough to write a good review about them here, marching like soldiers and singing those soldier songs, organizing heavy metal festivals, burning out rear motorcycle tire to impress your man or your lady etc. I think you've got the idea...
Hi, my name is Sonja. I don't like to talk about myself but since it would be nice to gain some confidence from you (at least my sons told me that), I closed my eyes and let my sons describe me in a few words. So, I'm a mother of 2 grown up sons. I have a husband and a father. I'm also a grandmother of 2 grandchildren. So, all in all, I take care of 4 grown up kids, and occasionally of 2 small kids. I'm retired (ex Italian and French teacher - more caring about kids) but I'm certainly not old (nor will ever be). I've never traveled much, but I didn't have many occasions neither. I'm more like a host than a guest by nature. I enjoy hosting, so by default I'm good at it. There's a song called "Zimmer frei" from a Croatian rock band. It's a satirical song about the common thought of tourism being the one that saves the Croatians from having to do anything else to ensure their existence. It says something like this: "...that will be the day...put out the "zimmer frei" sign, lay under the palm and enjoy...". In my case, the palms never existed, nor I've ever asked for them, but I've always enjoyed hosting and I still am as long as the guests/friends keep arriving. So pay me a visit. You are welcome!
