This is our stunning holiday home in one of the most beautiful and unspoilt parts of the northwest. We welcome a few guests each year, who recognise it and appreciate it for what it is.
The house was built in the 1950's and is well insulated and cosy. The rooms are light and all those on the front have unbeatable views over the bay to Tanera Mor, the largest of the Summer Isles. All of the beds are very comfortable and we supply fine cotton sheets, duvets and towels. The kitchen is fully equipped with both an oil fired Aga and electric cooker. The central and hot water heating system has just been replaced.
We let the house out when we are not using it ourselves and so guests will have access to the whole of the house and garden. There are a couple of bicycles which guests are welcome to use. There is also a computer as well as wifi internet in the house.

We like to speak to all of our guests by telephone before finally confirming the reservation. But we do not live in the area and so will not be able to greet or meet them during their stay.
There is an oil burning Aga in the kitchen which we use for cooking as well as warmth. Some guests are not used to an Aga and want to switch it off as it is hot. If that is you, please book somewhere else.
This is our home and we ask our guest to treat it as such, and to leave it tidy and ready to be cleaned and the sheets and towels changed.
I work part time based in London, and so can indulge my interests which include the outdoors (walking, cycling, skiing, sculling, kayaking, swimming and sailing) as well as opera and good wine, food and company.
