Snugged against the woods by the pond is the 20' Sweetlife Tipi, luxuriously outfitted, ready for a peaceful retreat, a romantic getaway, an adventuresome guest room for overflow guests, or the perfect home base for a cycling weekend.
Chosen and designed to honor the Nez Perce tribe, the Sweetlife Tipi offers glamping at its highest level with a real queen size bed, rugs on the concrete floor, cozy rocking chairs, reading lamps, an outlet for portable devices and mini fridge. Ready for quiet reflection and star gazing, a fireplace by the pond is steps away. The adjacent eco-friendly bathroom is open on one side to the privacy of the wooded setting, and offers a composting toilet, on-demand hot water shower and sink, hand loomed organic Turkish cotton towels and handmade Sweetlife Farm personal care items.
There is a two night minimum stay when booking Friday or Saturday.
Sweetlife Farm is a 10 acre slice of heaven; it is a working small farm growing food for our table along with fruit, flowers and herbs for our cottage business, which makes jams, herbal condiments, Dr. Bob's Cocktail Bitters and Tonics, and handmade natural soap and skincare products. Guests are free to enjoy the extensive gardens, and meet the chickens and two Jack Russell Terriers who are in charge of the property....
The tipi is situated in its own secluded area of the property, within view of our home and the cottage where Nancy's mom lives--private but not isolated.

Bob and Nancy greet guests upon arrival to show them around. A yummy continental breakfast is included: granola, yogurt, and jams (all made on site) accompanied by French press coffee or tea, fresh picked farm berries in season, and fresh juice.
There is a small refrigerator and an outdoor fireplace, but no cooking or kitchen facilities. Grocery stores and restaurants are nearby in town; arrangements can be made for pizza and/or picnic style meals to be delivered.
We provide a hair dryer and robes.
The Pacific Northwest is blessed with a mild climate. Even in summertime, a light sweater or jacket can feel great after sunset or for early morning coffee. Especially if you are used to a hot climate, it is a good idea to bring light layers to add or subtract for your personal comfort level. Plan to bring comfortable, casual attire, along with slide-on footwear to wear between the tipi and bath hut. The tipi is spacious, but does not have closets! Duffle style bags work best; multiple large suitcases will get in your way!
This is a rural setting, with abundant wildlife. It is not uncommon to see raccoons, coyote, deer, ducks and great blue herons, eagles, ravens, hawks and many other species of birds. We rarely see but often hear owls, and all these creatures and our rooster have been known to make noise at night. The Sweetlife Tipi is the perfect way to surround yourself with nature without sacrificing the comforts of home.
There is a two night minimum stay when booking Friday or Saturday. Book 2 or more nights any day of the week.
