It is most likely that i will meet you on the day of arrival or on the day of departure. In the house you will find maps, addresses and suggestions for your stay.
I like to drink a beer while watching the sunset before dinner. I enjoy going to Caletta beach in the evening where you will find celebration in the air. Sometimes i get up early in the morning to go and visit an old tower called Guardimori where an amazing view of the whole island can be seen.
I rarely go to into the village, but when i do, i buy meat from Rivaro, bread from Stagnin, cakes and pastries from Seafino and fish from one of the local fishermen. The most popular dish is Cas-ca, it is cous-cous with vegetables.
Do not miss a boat trip to Capo Sandalo near the lighthouse, someone has been able to see the "the green ray" which in some places appears at the last moment of the day. So bring some bubbly, it is a great place to celebrate.
Use extreme caution against fires. It is forbidden to light fires from May to November. Please when you get the chance, we would really appreciate if you could water the plants in front of the house.
If something should break please let me know in advance because not everything can be found on the island. Please smoke only outside the house, i will leave some ashtrays in the veranda.
Please use water with respect, it is precious even if we have our own water well. The house is not connected to a sewer system but it has a septic tank, please avoid as much as possible throwing toilet paper in the toilet and throw it in the bin in the bathroom instead.
