Our rustic three acre camp consists of three cottages, a small boathouse and an authentic Native American Tipi at the end of a dead-end dirt road. We have 200 feet of direct shoreline on Lake Bomoseen, the largest natural lake in Vermont. The lake is approximately 6 miles long by a mile wide. Crystal clear water for great swimming, water skiing, boating, and bass, trout, and bluegill fishing. Two docks, one for boats, one for swimming and a swim platform out about 30 yards from the dock to perform those belly flop dives. Each cabin comes with its own rowboat. There are kayaks, a windsurfer available to rent. The local marina rents pontoon boats and speed boats.
The depth of the water at the shoreline is less than a foot so the little kids can paddle around. At the swim platform it’s about 12 feet deep. The water is crystal clear and rated as AA drinking water. We face west for spectacular sunsets. Up by the tipi is the fire pit where you can roast marshmallows and hot dogs.
The "Birch" Cabin sits atop a hill, with three flights of stairs that lead down to the lake. Jump off the swim dock into the crystal clear water and float around or head out for the float platform and bask in the sun. Early in the morning, you may see our local Blue Herons, Osprey or the pileated Woodpecker fresh out of a Walt Disney movie. A recent arrival are the Bald Eagles soaring overhead nearby.
If you're more the fisherman, we've got you covered. Grab a license at the nearby bait shop and cast your line off our fishing-friendly dock. Bluegills and small and large mouth bass can be seen meandering nearby. The northern pikes and brown trout are a bit more elusive. There are three fishing contests on the lake each year. Two in the summer. One in the winter. Record lengths and poundage!!
Dockage is available for smaller boats (12') at an extra charge. Mooring for larger boats may be available. Both only upon request.
Activities abound nearby: rodeos, shopping, golf, Six Flags, Lake George, Killington, Manchester, hiking, mountain climbing, and great restaurants.
A 9% Vermont Room Tax is additional.
The tipi, paddle boat, power boat and boat house are private. Use can be discussed.

Professional couple from CT who longed for the tranquility of a lakefront escape at the end of a dead end dirt road with lots of privacy. Sally is an Interior Designer. Joel is video producer/director. We purchased this lovely camp over fifteen years ago and have been sharing it with family and friends. Three cabins on the property. 200 feet of lakefront, crystal clear water, nearly 3 acres, sunset views, a Native American tipi, a shoreline fire pit for evening fires and star gazing, rowboats, kayaks, swimming, fishing, and relaxing. It is a magical place.
