'One of the few AirBnB's I have stayed in that is even better in person than in the listing. Loved it!', Brock Ferguson, May 2017.
Our huge city centre apartment could not be better located with Dublin's best shops, restaurants and bars mere seconds away. The architect designed space features a sound-proofed bedroom with a large double bed and double-width bunk beds built into an alcove at the rear. The sofa in the living room converts easily to a proper double bed. It's an amazing apartment.
We have recently refurbished the apartment with the help of a local architect and a master craftsman to create a very relaxed, beautiful space.
The area could not be more central and is particularly well served by restaurants, bars and independent small retailers. Climb the two flights of stairs to escape the buzz of the city and enjoy a quiet night's sleep as the bedroom is strategically located at the back of the building.
The apartment was designed as a city crash pad for our family as we live mostly on the west coast and has a somewhat unique bedding arrangement with one bedroom comprising a double bed and a set of double bunk-beds built into an alcove at the back of the room.
The sofa in the living room converts in seconds to an extremely comfortable double bed if extra guests would like a separate sleeping area (you may hear some street noise in this part of the apartment so if you are a sensitive sleeper stick to the bedroom). Even though there is only one bedroom it's a large, spacious apartment with lots of living area and a balcony to the rear.
The whole apartment.

I'm happy to answer any questions by email. As I live on the other side of the country I have asked my Dublin based friend Fergal McCarthy to help look after the apartment and he is happy to meet you if there's any problem. Please telephone at any stage if you have any issue.
The apartment is on the second floor of a beautiful old building in Dublin. Unfortunately it doesn't have a lift so it is not suitable for wheelchair users. If you have lots of cases it will be a bit of a chore lugging them up the second floor, sorry about that! The apartment is right in the middle of the city-centre, you will never need a taxi and you can walk everywhere. There are lots of great bars and restaurants on our doorstep which is very handy. But the central location means that you will hear some street noise in the living areas of the apartment at night time (the bedroom is at the back of the building which is quieter and many of our guests are amazed by how peaceful it is).
This is a non smoking apartment but luckily we have a balcony at the rear of the building if you would like to smoke there.
Unfortunately we can't accommodate any pets and we can't allow parties either. Thanks!
I'm from Melbourne, Australia originally but I have been living in Ireland for many years. I've recently moved to Sligo with my family and we have decided to rent our apartment in Dublin as we only get to use it for the occasional weekend. We recently renovated the apartment with the help of an architect friend and a brilliant local craftsman.
