We had a beautiful stay at the Kona Coffee Palace, where we spent almost three weeks. The studio is not huge, but it was very clean and everything was in very good condition. The King bed was comfortable and new as well. We even had a washer and a dryer in the bathroom. We enjoyed our time on the calm balcony, which had a nice mountain view up the Hualalai volcano. The house is surrounded by a coffee plantation with 5 acres of land. Therefore it was very quiet and we have been completely on our own for the whole time. Although we haven't met Roger, everything was nicely set up for our stay and we had an easy access due to a pincode at the front door. We even had a TV with Netflix and amazon prime access.
Since the coffee palace is located at about 2.300 feet, you will need a car to get there and to go down to Kona. Besides the road up to the house is pretty steep. But the temperature up there is just perfect and pretty relaxing. We can definitely recommend the coffee palace!!
