Converted rag stone apple store a mile out of West Malling on a quiet country lane surrounded by orchards. The room has a king sized bed with an en suite shower. A share bathroom is adjacent to the room. There is ample parking, shared use of the garden, bathroom and wireless internet. The kitchen is available to all for breakfast and visitors staying longer than a week may cook simple meals and store small amounts of perishable and dry goods.
The room is on the first floor and has a king sized bed. It has a wardrobe with hanging and storage space for two people. There is a comfortable chair, towels, bedding and basic toiletries. Tea & coffee making facilities are included and there is also a toaster.
The area is very convenient for the local station which has a regular service to London, Maidstone, Canterbury and Ashford International. The Channel Tunnel and Eurostar services are approximately 30 minutes drive away on the M20 and you can catch a ferry to France from Dover in under an hour by car.
Many historical sites (Leeds Castle, Hever Castle, Sissinghust, Ightham Mote etc) and areas of beautiful countryside (North Downs, Weald of Kent etc.) are within easy access of West Malling.
West Malling itself is an attractive market town with buildings dating back to the 11th century. There are a number of restaurants and pubs in the town and a Tesco Metro supermarket that is well stocked and open until late Monday - Saturday (Sunday 10-4). The county town of Maidstone is a 15 minute drive away and Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells are all within a half hour drive.
As well as the private room available guests will be able to access the kitchen, bathroom and downstairs cloakroom which has a toilet and wash basin. The garden and orchard at the rear of the house are freely available to guests, weather permitting. Off road parking is available and accessed via the rear of the property.

I will be delighted to meet and greet guests and provide cereal, toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, raspberries from the garden (when in season) and a hot drink for breakfast.

When arriving please note that number 181 in the photo is a landmark to let you know you are nearly at the property. You need to drive a little further up the lane to arrive in the correct location.
