Private room on the 1st floor, own shower+WC - great value! Has an AC, fan, and desk. We live in a big house just a few minutes from Independence Monument. Included: a cozy roof-top terrace, well-equipped kitchen and two hosts nearby!
Note: This room doesn't have a window to the outside. The room features a mezzanine -level window above the living room.
The house features a well-equipped kitchen, a quaint living room and a nicely furnished open terrace that serves as a second living room. Your room is on the 1st floor (one flight of stairs).
The room features its own ensuite bathroom and a nice desk. This room with its large indoor-facing window, typical of Phnom Penh’s Chinese shophouse style, stays super cool even in the hot season!
On the first floor there is a small indoor storage area for bicycles, a small living room and a kitchen. On the top floor there is a spacious terrace.
We have a washing machine on the top floor. If you are here for a longer period our housekeeper will do your laundry - she does laundry at least once per week, but if you’re only staying for a few days it may be a better bet to do your own. Just ask and we can show you how to use the machine.
We also have a small selection of books and travel guides that you can borrow while staying with us.

We enjoy getting to know all of our guests. We often go out for dinner with the house or have brunch on our rooftop, but this depends on our and the guests’ schedules. One of us is generally always available to help with any issues, but we may not be staying at the house all the time.
The stairs are quite steep, but our guests haven't had any problems with them. If you have knee problems or mobility issues, the stairs might be difficult.
Our house is LGBT friendly and we welcome everyone.
The doors need to stay locked at all times. The front door needs to be locked with both locks.
Guests are expected to clean up as soon as they’ve finished cooking so that the space and any cookware is available for other guests to use.
Please do not leave dirty dishes in your room as they can attract ants
Please ask before inviting guests to the house.
Please keep noise to a minimum at night and early morning (10 pm - 9 am).
Smoking is not allowed inside the house, but there is a terrace upstairs where you can smoke.
We are two friends who've been living in Cambodia for six years! Irina works in the environmental sector and teaches environmental science at a university. She knows everything! Michael's background is in business. We're enjoying sharing our Phnom Penh homes with travelers and visitors. We hope to have a chance to meet you either at the house or out for dinner, to hear about your adventures and travels!
