The room is indeed close to underground station Ealing Common (5 minutes walk).
You won’t meet the host Pietro, as you rent his own bedroom and bed of an apartment used by other tenants. He gives you clear video instructions how to find the apartment from the tube station and where to find and hid the keys.
However, the impression and information Pietro provided (by mail exchange and at Airbnb) is misleading. There is no place in the wardrobe as Pietro uses it for his own clothes. The bathroom was ‘cleaned’ according to Pietro. However I have never seen such a filthy bathroom and toilet, which haven’t be cleaned for ages. The kitchen is bad as well, all dishes and utensils are used and dirty, resulting in a nasty smell. You have to clean it yourself before you can use anything. A lot of things are broken, like the fridge, where the food floods in the water, the shower and the curtains in the bedroom came down. The living room is in use as a laundry drying room. It’s a typical young men household. And the other tenants doesn’t agree that part of the apartment is used as B&B. It’s not worth the price. So if you like to have a bed close to the tube and like to be in a filthy environment this is the place to be. A shame this could have been an excellent place. Nearby are pubs, restaurants and a supermarket (open all days 7 am – 11 pm)
