Our property is at the top of the hill, with fantastic birds eye views of the River Dart. The river view changes by the minute with ferries, boats and various craft on this busy stretch of the river. Add to that the view of the Royal Naval College, countryside and the Dartmouth Steam train and you’d be hard pushed to find a more glorious view!
The property is a self-contained annex with its own entrance. It has a bedroom / living area, separate kitchen and a shower-room.
There are 2 single beds which have 2 pillows and a mattress topper for maximum comfort. Extra pillows and blankets are also provided. The bedroom also has a good-sized wardrobe with plenty of hangers and drawers. The room also features black out covering on the curtains.
There is a 17” screen TV.
The room has a sofa and a small table with 2 chairs.
Towels are provided for the shower.
The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, toaster, kettle and plenty of tableware and kitchen accessories.
An iron and ironing board can be supplied on request.
Guests are welcome to use the garden and terrace. It is the perfect place to enjoy the stunning views over breakfast or an early evening drink, taking in the sun setting over the River Dart.
Parking is in the driveway, adjacent to the annex.
It is a 10 minute walk to the ferry and centre of Kingswear. For those wanting a car free holiday, please note that the hill is steep. It is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. There is plenty of off-road parking at the property.

We are retired and enjoy walking, travelling, gardening and good food. Our large family keeps us busy but as our children are all gown up, we get lots of time to discover Devon and have fun with our grandchildren.
