Adorable seasonal vacation cottage in The Cottages of Birch Knoll on peaceful 13 acres of grounds, very close to Ogunquit Playhouse and close to downtown Ogunquit, not far from York beaches. The cottage complex is 100 yards from the southern city limits of Ogunquit, the mailing address is Cape Neddick or York. Both of those beaches are about a 10 minute drive. We have a 1 week minimum and offer discounts to Monthly or multiple month rentals. Pool is heated in Memorial day to early September.
1 bedroom vacation cottage- 400 square feet. Decorated by a professional home Stager.
This is a seasonal cottage condominium, not a year-round house. They are stand alone cottages owned by different people now (formerly a 1920's motel cottage complex) with shared use of grounds, heated pool & laundry (URL HIDDEN) have a heated swimming pool, fire pit and acres of fields and woods with an abundance of wildlife.
Peaceful grounds, with BBQ and picnic table in a quiet peaceful backyard looking out onto green fields and a forest. Deer come out at sunset as well as turkeys and eagles.
We are situated on the perfect location on the grounds, no cottages in front or back of us, only one on one side, for maximum privacy. In addition there is a knoll in front of the cottage parking, where the pool & fire pit are, that block the view & noise of US 1 (couple hundred feet away). You feel like you are on the edge of the Forrest but just a mile to the center of Ogunquit.
full cottage- in a complex of 21 cottages on 13 acres. Private back yard, no cottages in front or back, off to the end with wide space between the other cottages in complex. Very quiet & peaceful location within complex.

none- long distance owner. This cottage is my summer vacation cottage, although I rent it out when I am not using it to offset the costs. This is my happy place... one day when I retire, it will be my summer home. I love it here. I am available by phone & email. Although in my 3rd year, I have still not received a call, just an email with a question that was not urgent.
There is a lot to do in Ogunquit & York, beaches, restaurants, plays, sing-a-long gay piano bar, antiquing and just hanging out and enjoying the lack of humidity.
This cottage is our vacation home. We have furnished it with good quality furnishings for us and our guests to enjoy. We would like people to be conscious of keeping it cleaned, not allowing anyone (or anything) to damage anything. (such as stains on carpet or bedding etc...). We also have vintage items, especially kitchen items, that have special value to us and have a higher value due to being vintage. So we ask people to be conscious of this when using them.
Wayne and I have several vacation rental homes in Central Florida and one in Ogunquit, ME. We have personally restored/remodeled these homes and decorated each with a different theme. All of our homes are older homes with character and charm.
We like a combination of Vintage with a little new in matching theme & color selection. You will find a lot of vintage items in all of our properties as we do love vintage and antique items, we think they add a fun and whimsical note to the homes/ Please see the pictures.
We also have a Vintage Market/Antique store in Tavares, FL (Central FL) Through The Years Vintage Market (we have a page if you would like to see pictures).
Wayne is a professional decorator and home Stager. I am a retired accounting manager, I worked for larger corporations in Seattle and South Florida. Previously I was a flight attendant for NW Airlines for a few years in the 80's when I was younger. We now live in Central Florida in an 1876 Victorian Era, Queen Anne style home we are restoring.
