Dar Lala Wafae is a beautiful riad in a great location, just steps from the Blue Gate that leads to the center of the medina and the souks. The breakfast is delicious and served on a nice rooftop terrace. Seeing at it is a riad (guesthouse) there are many rooms, so the room that you stay in is not necessarily the room pictured in the Airbnb listing. Our room was very nice with comfortable beds and a heater/air conditioner.
There are two sisters who work the front desk and who serve the breakfast in the morning and they were incredibly nice and helpful. They do not speak English so it's helpful if you know French (or Arabic)!
Rashid was very kind, he offered to pick us up from the bus station. However, he was very strongly pushing us to take a "tourist excursion" that he had organized to Chefchaouen. It felt a bit like the sellers in the souks, trying aggressively to make a sale. We ended up agreeing to go on the excursion, but it was expensive and we did not appreciate feeling pressured into it.
All in all a very nice stay, but be prepared to be "sold" things, like excursions, tours, etc. If you don't want to pay for them, just say no thank you.
