Quaint Quiet Single Family Home 4 Miles From Downtown Dallas. One Bedroom with Queen Bed and Fully Functioning Kitchen.
The crazy partying etc.
I am so thankful I found this AirBnB for my trip to Dallas. Patty was SO nice. The room was great and had its own bathroom and closet space for hanging things. Milton, her dog, was SO sweet! If I were to come to Dallas again, I would stay here again without hesitation. If you have a rental car, there is ample parking all around the home. If not, plenty of Ubers!
This was my first Airbnb experience and I'm sooo happy we reached out to Patricia she was beyond wonderful !!! Everything looks like the pictures .She is so welcoming and friendly makes you feel like you're not even away from home . I recommend anyone staying in the Dallas area should contact her ! I have no negative things to say about my stay next time I'm in the Dallas I'll be staying with her again no doubt :)
Patty and Milton were wonderful to stay with. Milton was always very excited and friendly. The room was clean and spacious with a private bathroom and comfortable bed. There were clear instructions on where everything was. Patty was warm, helpful and very flexible; specially since we could not make it on the day we were supposed to come, and had to postpone for the next day. The place is close to Downtown, and a very nice neighborhood. This was our first Airbnb experience, and it was pretty good.
Let me see now... Patty and Milton? Hmmm. "What a winning hand!" Yep, that about sums it up. Patricia is warm, outgoing and down to earth, as well as professional and informative. And, darling Milton is a joy! He is a powerhouse of happiness and love, who greeted me each morning with excitement and many "high fives" (tens, actually...both paws up)! The beach house is exactly as pictured, and my room was very comfortable. Fresh towels and an ensuite bathroom. I had access to the washer and dryer, too. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, which I really appreciated. I took a long walk around, and collected leaves for my eco-printing projects. Plenty of cold fresh water was at my disposal, and morning coffee. Patty even provided cookie snacks in my room upon arrival which, I have to say, I took advantage of. One evening I was having a sweet tooth attack, and asked Patty if I could purchase a couple of Ritz Bits and Nutter Butters. She wouldn't hear of it. She opened the box and said, "Take all you like." She even brought pumpkin bread from Starbucks as a surprise. I stayed 6 days with Patty and Milton, and it was very relaxed, like visiting a friend. Patty is a real estate agent and manages to balance her busy schedule with quality time for her guests. She explained everything I wanted to know, and her answers were not formal, but funny and real. "Milty" is always eager to entertain. The house is really like a home. It was an easy and comfortable stay.
The room was lovely, clean and fresh with an adjoining private bathroom with shower - complete privacy! A great value for your money! The double bed was very comfortable and one is free to use the house as if it is yours - a very comfortable, relaxing, quiet atmosphere. Communication with Patty beforehand was very prompt, warm and efficient. Good internet access, free bottled water in the frig and the charms of 'little white Milton', the dog made it a great place to be. Patty was very warm, helpful and friendly and the house is on a very quiet street. If you are arriving with your own vehicule or renting a car, you're in luck - it seems it is the best choice! 'Uber' or taxi is the next choice: for instance, 7-8 miles (15-20 minutes) to the 'Arts District' downtown. It would be a good idea to research well the DART public transportation system and find out if and what service they provide in the area of Patty's house.
Patricia and her fuzzy roommate were absolutely great. She left clear check-in instructions. And her place is amazing! Very clean and comfortable bed with private bathroom; spacious living room and kitchen if you plan on hanging out. If you have a car (and you probably do if you're seeing anything in Dallas besides the Cowboys game), I highly recommend staying here.
