This property has all the ingredients of LOCATION as our apartment Hawaii 28D is probably one of the very best in this older Edificio which also benefits from a south facing terrace spanning the width of the apartment. This means the terrace has sun from morning to night all the year round. Many guests return every year. Walking distances to beach, supermarkets and pedstrianized town centre are comfortable - there are car parking spaces available too in several locations closeby.
This apartment is very private as it is at the end of the Edificio with no other property in front or behind. It is what could be described as semi-detached. You will use the whole of the apartment. The president and his wife are keen gardeners and so the whole Edificio, including the backcloth of the hill at the back is adorned with plants and flowers as they also live in the Edificio. The south facing terrace spreads the width of the apartment with no other properties in front or behind. The sun adorns the terrace all year round and this is why it is so popular in the winter months too. There is a combined kitchen and lounge area of good size to be comfortable for the family. The two bedrooms are at the back of the apartment and hence it is quiet there for good sleeping. No other persons will pass by the apartment at the back as it is situated at the end. The bathroom has an external window making it for hygienic and the washing machine is situated in this large bathroom which is usual for apartments here in Spain. The community swimming pool is situated in beautiful and well kept gardens and are a joy to just sit and relax there in the chairs we have provided. More importantly there is a lift to the second floor where the apartment is situated and again this is important for our more mature guests and not usually found in low rise apartment blocks. The lift is found in the entrance hall which again is adorned with plants and flowers.
The key safe to the apartment is situated to the right of the entrance door. We provide you with the access code and this means that you can gain access very easily at whatever time you arrive. We do however like to meet and greet our guests if possible on arrival. In the key safe you will find the key for the both entrances and also there is a further key which you can use to open the gate at the back of the gardens which provides access to the palm tree walkway to take you to the centre of town and the two local supermarkets closeby

We supply fresh linen and towels and beach/swimming pool towels and if you are staying for a longer period of time we will supply a further set on request. The apartment is equipped with sun loungers and chairs for use at the community swimming pool or for taking to the beach together with a large cool box too. We do own four other properties close by - a two bedroom apartment sleeping 4+ persons in Edificio Aljamr Calle Lucena beach end - our large villa Aljamar 8a sleeping up to 8 persons, and our apartment Aljamar 5b sleeping up to 6+ persons and our newly constructed villa (Villa Rubi) in Calle Marie de Waard, close to beaches and centre of town sleeping 6+ persons with private pool and car parking space in the private terrace zone All of these properties are advertised on this website and we can provide further details on request. This information is useful to those booking say guests for a wedding here in Nerja or those celebrating fiestas where large numbers of people are invited. We aim to be flexible regarding arrival entry and departure. However if we have guests arriving on the same day as guests leave then we have to set the departure time to 10 am to allow for cleaning of the villa. Also another major consideration is the safety of Nerja for tourists. Much of the centre is pedestrianised - protected with bollards which only authorised vehicles can use and the local and national police are in visible evidence most of the time too.

You can access the property at any time and we shall do our very best to allow you to continue to be at the property until you need to leave especially if you have a late flight. However if we guests leave and arrive on the same day then we will do our best to accommodate departure and entry but have to consider cleaning time.

My husband is Spanish and between us we rent out 4 elegant properties in great locations in Nerja. We are particular in making sure our guests are well cared for from time of booking to leaving and can offer to arrange transport to and from the airport for you. Many of our guests regularly return for longer lettings especially in the winter months and we have hosts guests from far afield looking to escape their own harsh climates to live in harmony here in the wonderful "Carribian" climate that Nerja offers all the year round. In fact Nerja itself is one of the best kept secrets of Spain for relaxation and being unspoiled - it is still a typical working town.
