Being away from home can be UNCOMFORTABLE! But it doesn't have to be. This adorable basement apt is perfect whether you're visiting family, working remotely, or need a night away. You get the feel of a boutique hotel with the privacy of a quiet neighborhood and all the comforts of home (parking w/o the awkward backyard entry, full kitchen & laundry, Zoom-friendly workspaces, etc). PLUS you're centrally located for both Utah and Salt Lake counties and just minutes from the mountains!

This is a thoughtful 1-bedroom apartment in the basement of a family home. You'll have a dedicated driveway for parking, private side entry, a full kitchen and living room space, a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, and a laundry closet with a free washer and dryer. We've created workspaces (with Zoom-ready lighting and backgrounds!) in both the bedroom and the kitchen, perfect for the couple where both partners need to work remotely.

The apartment is completely private from the rest of the home, but please note that it IS a basement apartment. We did everything we could to minimize sound within the apartment, but an active family lives in the rest of the house so you can occasionally hear footsteps and muffled voices. If you're a light sleeper who likes daytime naps, there are ear plugs in the nightstand but this also may not be the spot for you.

You'll have complete access to the 1-bedroom apartment (which includes a full kitchen, living room area with sleeper sofa, ensuite bathroom, workspaces, and laundry). There is also a dedicated driveway for you to park in and a convenient private entry on the side of the home + side yard just for the apartment. (This means you get to skip the awkward "round the back" entry that no one likes when staying in an Airbnb!)

A dedicated patio, fire pit, and outdoor seating area is also available just outside your door!
