Enjoy the excitement of Seattle and city life in a quiet and green retreat at the Center of the Universe- Fremont!
If what you’re looking for is a cozy, private cottage with easy access to everything Seattle has to offer, then you’ve found your new home away from home!
Our charming cottage was originally built in 1950 and is positioned at the back of the large garden behind the main house. The lush garden provides a private oasis from the bustling city. With a super comfy bed, large bay window and skylights above the bed, the cottage is a dreamy place to relax.
As it is a studio, the bedroom, living room, and kitchen are one. There’s a small table and chairs for breakfast or tea. The bathroom has been described as European style – it is a small, tiled room with a toilet, sink, and shower overhead. The water heater is relatively small so short showers are recommended.
You’ll find tea, coffee, fresh towels, and other necessities (the bathroom cabinet is stocked with toiletries in case you forget anything).
There are 2 beach cruisers you can use to ride down the bike path and explore the neighborhood.
Wifi is provided.
I’ve been an airbnb host for the last 4 years and it’s such a pleasure to share our space! My family and I love meeting our visitors and are available to answer any questions you have during your stay.
Since this is a family neighborhood we ask that the noise be kept down in the evening. Please make yourself at home and respect it as if it were your own. Enjoy!
I'm a native Northwesterner and love to travel! My husband and I have lived in our house in Fremont for 30 years with many pets and raising our daughter. I especially love traveling in Europe, reading, cycling (my Dutch bike's name is Gladys!) and drinking tea- our house blend is Yorkshire Gold mixed with Vanilla Coconut Black! I really like people and find airbnb a wonderful way meet and host other people in our sweet cottage.
I love Thornton Wilder's quote:
WE ARE ONLY TRULY ALIVE IN THOSE MOMENTS
WHEN OUR HEARTS ARE CONSCIOUS OF OUR TREASURES.
