My one-bedroom is smack in the heart of the East Village. It's a fun, colorful, lively 'hood with a wild history. On the 2nd floor of an old-school, pre-war building, it is perfect for one guest and just fine for two.
My apartment is a cozy one-bedroom (two rooms) in a fun, lively neighborhood. The living room and kitchen are one room, with a couch, a table and chairs, an old record player, and full cooking capabilities. I am lucky enough to have a windowed bathroom with a small bathtub, both hot commodities here! The bedroom has a full-size (aka double) bed (one size smaller than a queen.) Enjoy a movie on netflix after a long day of exploring. If you're looking for an old-school East Village stay, you've found it. It is not a shiny new place, but I love it. Don't expect much from the building's hallways—they are not pretty.
I am happy to offer every part of my home to my guests. Please make yourself comfortable and feel free to use pantry items for preparing food if you like. There are some empty drawers under the TV for your use.
Interakcija s gostima
I enjoy interacting with guests but also respect privacy. I am always available to answer questions and am happy to give recommendations about my city.
I'm on the second floor, one flight up by stairs. There is no elevator.
-There is no smoking allowed in my apartment or anywhere in the building
-No candles allowed
-Please be respectful of my neighbors: walk and speak quietly in the hallways. This is especially important when we are having so many problems in our city with airbnb and other sharing economy businesses.
-Close and lock all windows and the doors when you go out
-Please be midnful of AC useage and turn it off when not in use
-Turn off all lights, stove, tv, etc when going out
-Please clean up after yourself, just as you would if staying at a friend's home
-Please hang your towels up so they have a chance to dry

Hi -- I'm a native New Yorker, traveler, photographer, and event producer. Other favorite cities include New Orleans (where I have a gorgeous one-bedroom in the historic French Quarter) and Bangkok. I've been an airbnb host since 2010 and I think it is awesome.
